The LPG gas system consists of 2 13k gas bottles fitted in a sealed cabinet at the rear of the vehicle. These feed into a Euro regulator and automatic change over switch,  (picture 1) and can handle both Propane and Butane cylinders. "Drop holes" are provided at the base of the cabinet, and against each tap and appliance.

From the regulator the gas is fed via 8mm micro-bore copper pipe through a bulkhead connector in the cabinet side, and fed down onto the floor mounted isolator switch, (picture 3 ), and then into a 4 way manifold. This feeds each appliance in accordance with Corgi
® regulations. The 4 ports reading left to right are:-

1. Space Heater.
2. Water heater.
3. Cooker Hob.
4. not used.

For protection both LPG Gas and Carbon monoxide alarms are fitted to the vehicle.

Once completed the whole system was tested and certified by a Corgi® registered LPG garage.
