The water system is based on 2 x 75ltr  water tanks, one for fresh water, and one for "grey" water. The fresh water feeds a Fiama automatic pump and accumulator, which in turn feed :-

bulletSink
bulletWater heater
bulletShower point

The sink waste  returns to the second "Cak" tank via gravity. The fresh water tank is mounted over the nearside wheel arch, and the waste  was over the offside wheel arch. Both are mounted on wood and steel mounting frames fixed to the sides and floor of the vehicle.

However, I have found that the waist tank is not positioned low enough to give a good flow from the sink, so I am going to remove this, and fit a new tank under the van. This will also allow more storage space. This was done in July 2007, using a 95lts Cak tank as shown in picture 5.

The fresh water pump as can be seen in picture 3, feeds via stop tap into the pump, with a "T" piece  and drain tap between, then into the accumulator . This then feeds the appliances as above.

All the plumbing is 12mm "pushfit" type, with mostly blue pipes for cold, and red pipes for hot.

The Smev sink is fitted with combination hot/cold swivel tap. IN line with the feed to the cold tap is an "Avonsoft MOB/KIT" inline water filter

The waste tank empties via a stop tap ( picture 3 )through the vehicle floor, where if required an extension hose can be fitted.

Water connections for shower point and water inlet are on the nearside rear of the van as shown in picture 5.
